An inquiry report uncovered that the City of Winnipeg paid too much $43 million for the downtown police headquarters due to excessive contractor fees. The report also claims violations of public trust by former mayor Sam Katz and the former chief administrative officer, who did not possess a moral compass. Meanwhile, the Winnipeg Jets are waiting for updates on the suspension of goalie Connor Hellebuyck, with a potential return this week.
