SpaceX lifted off with a Starlink mission early on Aug. 25. The rocket flew as planned. It was the 37th time for that Falcon booster, establishing another rocket reuse record. The flight was the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. Morning skywatchers expected to observe a jellyfish effect high above. Spaceflight Now and Space showed live coverage of the event.
SpaceX also planned to reveal its Louisiana plans on Aug. 25. Elsewhere, NASA positioned its next star space telescope aboard a Falcon Heavy rocket. That launch takes place Aug. 30.
